Rotunda de Carlos da Maia Activity Centre
Located in the Complex Building of Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, the Rotunda de Carlos da Maia Activity Centre has 3 levels, i.e. the ground floor, the first floor and the second floor. The total area of the centre is about 1,000m2. There are different areas in the centre, but some facilities are for members’ use only. Residents are welcome to register as members and the registration is free of charge.

Facilities on each floor of the centre include:
Ground floor – The whole floor is an area designated for the elderly, offering newspapers and magazines for residents aged over 60. Elderly members can borrow small fitness and massage equipment so that they can do some light exercises while reading leisurely.
First floor – The facilities are suitable for members of different ages, including table tennis table, air hockey table, table football, motion-controlled game machines, multifunctional audio-visual room and internet service. On the same floor, there is also a television room for members and non-members to use.
Second floor - The reading room, which is open to members and non-members, provides more than 10 types of newspapers of the day in Chinese, English and Portuguese, as well as more than 20 types of popular magazines and books.
Culture and Art Space - The culture and art space is on the second floor. Members of the centre can apply for using the room for cultural and artistic practices. The room is limited to be used by 4 to 8 members at the same time. The period for use is from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day, with 60 minutes as one session. Members have to visit the activity centre in person to queue for the turn or process the booking registration.
