Return Policy

1. Returns
If the delivered product is found to be of the conditions mentioned below, please contact Online Store by email, phone or fax within 7 days after its reception. With the availability of stock and that the product to be returned is in saleable condition, we shall process the replacement of the returned product promptly. Please retain the invoice or the purchase order number as proof of return of merchandise.
 
Books
a. Printing error: wrong pagination and upside-down printing.
b. Binding error: pages in reverse order, missing pages and misbound.
c. Wrong book: dispatch of the wrong book by the IAM.
d. Postal error: delivery of the incorrect book due to postal error.
 
Gifts
a. Defective product: with apparent manufacturing defects.
b. Wrong merchandise: the delivered merchandise is inconsistent with the order.
c. Postal error: delivery of the incorrect merchandise due to postal error.
 
In addition, the actual product may differ slightly from its product description. Please be noted that the following conditions shall not be treated as a quality issue and the product is not returnable.   

- Possible variation in color between the actual product and its picture shown in the website caused by lighting or the customer' s perception of color;

- The size and weight of the product provided in its description are merely for reference purpose. Minor difference may exist due to manual craftsmanship and different batches of the product as well as standards applied by the customer to its measurement;

- Some products have been pre-washed or underwent special processing to give them a vintage look, which shall not be treated as a quality issue. 
 
2. Return and Replacement Process
a. Online Store reserves the right to reject any return and replacement request made by customer after 7 days of receipt of the goods in accordance to the Return Policy.

b. Upon approval of the request, Online Store shall notify the customer by email about arrangement for return and replacement of the product or refund promptly.

c. The email contains details about the return procedures and a return-number for convenient follow-up.

d. All unauthorized returns will not be processed.

e. It can take up to 30 working days to process the returned item.

f. Upon returning the product, it must be accompanied by the original copy of its invoice specified with the reason for its return and respective return-number. Pack the to-be-returned product properly and send it through a reliable shipping method. We are not responsible for products that are damaged or lost during its return shipping.

g. The customer shall bear all risks associated with the return of the product, including lost and damages. Online Store is not responsible for any loss incurred during the return shipment.

h. Upon confirmation that the returned product meets the requirements for its replacement, Online Store shall dispatch a new piece of the same product to the customer by EMS.

i. All orders are subject to final confirmation, which is determined by stock availability. In the event when any of the ordered products is unavailable, Online Store will notify the customer about the refund arrangement by phone or email before the requested delivery date. If the product cannot be replaced due to stock availability, Online Store will make arrangement for refund to the customer.

j. Upon returning the product, it must be accompanied by the free gift(s) associated with its purchase or any bonus item(s) conditional upon the purchase of specific products. If the customer fails to return them together with the returning product or that they are found to have been used or damaged upon their return, the customer has to pay an amount equivalent to their cash value that is determined by Online Store. 

k. Any payable refund (according to the exchange rate on the day of the refund transaction) will be made to the credit card account of the customer within 30 working days. The refundable amount is limited to the amount paid for the purchase of the product.

l. The shipping fee for returning product which is payable by Online Store to the customer is limited to the amount it paid for the dispatch of the product to the customer.

m. Online Store will look into whether the return request is supported by justifiable reason and reserves the right to decline any return request. If any dispute arises out of the return and replacement of goods, the decision of Online Store shall be final.

n. Any item that has been used, modified, assembled, installed or damaged due to improper use is not eligible for return and replacement.
 
3. Cancellation of Order
a. Any order cannot be cancelled or modified once its payment is made through online transfers. 

b. The IAM of Macao Special Administrative Region reserves the right to cancel paid orders due to insufficient stock or occurrence of force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, political issues, strikes and wars). In this case, we will notify the concerned customers by email and arrange a refund for their order made to their credit card account within 30 working days. The refundable amount (according to the exchange rate on the day of the refund transaction) is limited to the amount paid for the order and the IAM shall not assume any liability or other obligation.
